I would like to know if there is any isolation regulator EVM available for the UCC28C52QDRQ1/UCC28C53QDRQ1 DC/DC controllers with flyback topology that uses an SSR.

    Hi,

    No EVM on SSR with UCC28C52 or C53.

    UCC28C56EVM-066 is ok to modify to SSR.

    Hi Hong Huang, 

    One of the key objectives of the evaluation is to observe the behavior of components with higher power dissipation or loss, such as the MOSFET and transformer, at our required operating temperature.

    To achieve this, we are modifying the EVM to undergo a temperature test. I’m not sure if wiring up the feedback will have an effect on the thermal behavior, Do you have any comments?

    Also, I hope the discretes in the EVM can support 24V, as it is designed for 40-1000V.

    Hi,

    It depends on how you wire the feedback - if create noisy feedback it can affect the thermal behavior.

    For 24V output, you need to redesign the circuit. The EVM is with the output at about 15V.
