I'm finding REG103UA-3.3 is active and available per your website.

But I came across a PDN# 20231114006.3 notice that this component's last day to order was May 14, 2024, and last day to ship is Nov 14, 2024.

Please help me to understand if this part is being discontinued or is active (with the years to end-of-life estimate please).

Hello Tom,

This part is indeed active. However, it's very old. It's highly recommended to move to something newer like TPS7A2633DRVR if possible.

The recommended component isn't a drop in replacement.

Why was the PDN published to obsolete this component?

Hey Tom,

Correct - it's not a drop-in. We don't have a modern drop-in replacement for t his one.

The PDN was initially issued since we planned to phase out some of these older devices. Since then, TI has decided to give customers more time and flexibility to sunset designs before migrating to something more modern.
