BQ76952: use MSP430G2553 for i2c communication

I am using the MSP430G2553 microcontroller to implement BQ76952 Battery Monitors with the code example from SLUC701. However, the example uses the MSP430FR2355 controller, and I am unable to compile in my MSP430G2553 project. The error message indicates that many identifiers are undefined. Could someone help me identify the specific reasons for this, and how I can quickly adjust the code to work with the MSP430G2553 microcontroller?

Hi Alexis,

Yes, of course. I used the gc_simple_messagepack example from MSP430Ware as a project template. I removed the original main file and added the main file and BQ769x2Header.h from SLUC701.

Hello Lixin,

From what you have shared, I believe the error shows identifiers that are not defined in the BQ769x2 header but are being used in the main file. Can you define them in the header if you need them, or potentially delete/comment out any functions with them from the main file to see if that fixes the issue?
