In the design of the LM53603 EVM, Vin has three 10uF capacitors, and Vout has three 22uF capacitors. Due to limited PCBA space and my application requirements (Vin=9V, Vout=3.3V, Imax=300mA), is it possible to remove two of the 10uF capacitors on Vin and two of the 22uF capacitors on Vout?
Hello, The input capacitors can be removed, but, for the output capacitors, only 1 can be removed to ensure device stability.
LMR43610-Q1 could be considered for a future design which requires a smaller solution size.
