BQ27441-G1: Alternative part for 10Ah battery pack

Is it possible to scale sense resistor of  bq27441-G1 for 10Ah battery pack and scale reading accordingly in application. Will  bq27441-G1 work with scaled sense resistor for 10Ah battery pack?

e.g. Using 8mOhm instead of 10mOhm sense resistor, setting Design Capacity to 8000mAh for a 10000mAh battery pack.

It is possible to scale it to fit the 10Ah. Regarding bq27441, please use the GPCCHEM tool to confirm that the cell in use has a match below 3% with one of the predefined chemistries for this device. If it does not, we would recommend using bq34z100.

I checked GPCCHEM tools documentation. The list of supported battery fuel gauges do not include bq27441 in the list. Is it because it has fix chemistry ID based on variant and can not be changed?

The bq27551 status is "active" but is there any information on the longitivity of this part?

You can see our current guidelines state that TI standard products are not eligible for obsolescence if any of these three conditions exist:

• The product has had any sales within the last five years (seven years for automotive or high-reliability products).
• The product can be manufactured and has been in production for less than 10 years.
• The product has any current customer demand.
