    Hello user4688405,

    The MC33063A is a converter that turns on the switch when the output voltage is too low and turns off the switch when the voltage on CT is at the higher limit. Please see some more explanation in this document: MC33063A - functionality.pdf

    Due to this behavior, the current on the inductor can get higher than the peak current.
