BQ79600-Q1: BQ79600 Wake Up Problem

Part Number: BQ79600-Q1

Tool/software:

Hi

This is continuation of the previous wake up problem I have mentioned below.

BQ79600-Q1: BQ79600 Wake Problem - Power management forum - Power management - TI E2E support forums

Below you can find the customer response. Would be glad to get your support

********.

We understand that the communication was lost, and 79731 out of 79600 was reconfigured, but the wake signal was not pressed 79600. We used the wake tone only when the software was standing up. However, according to the logs we received from the field, communication did not continue despite the MCU reset (this means sending wake tone), but there is an uncertainty about whether the MCU actually reset, so the new software will be adjusted to be reconfigured at 79600 when the communication breaks and will be tried again. Since the tests are long, I will let you know if we encounter the same problem again.
Thanks for your help, good day.

  • Hey Mustafa,

Could you provide more details to better understand the issue. what direction are they sending the tone in, north or south. what other devices are attached to 731. what is power state of the 731 such as LDOIN and AVDD. Is the 731 in shutdown? what commands do they send when the issue occurs.

    Best regards,

    Abdel
