Hi ,
if I have an external EEPROM, can I program it directly by TI tool or system EC writes? Not go through TPS25750?

Hi Alan,
The Application Customization Tool only allows for direct programming through the EVM. If you want to program an external EEPROM (either on a customer hardware or individually) you'll need to generate a full flash binary from the Application Customization Tool and load the binary file through an I2C programmer. Aardvark adapter with Flash Center is an example of an I2C programmer that can be purchased, there are also many cheaper options available on the web.
For new designs we recommend switching from TPS25750 over to TPS25751, you can find more details here: https://e2e.ti.com/f/1/t/1346998
