Hi,
I use a BQ28 chip. When I use only a 1S battery (ie without external power), the VPACK voltage is not present.
VBAT is 3.6V, but VPACK is null. I understand that the BQ28 is in SHUTDOWN (or SLEEP) mode and I need to wake up.
In the User's guide of battery Pack management Evaluation Module (SLUUBE3 document) a switch S1 is present to temporarily connect BAT+ to PACK+.
But in my application, it's not possible to have this button. What is your suggestion to wake the bq28 ? diode + resistor beetween BAT+ and PACK+ ? reference ?
or may be a special configuration with "Wake Comparator Configuration Setting" ? Please can you give me some advices ?
Best regards
Eric
