Hi Champ,

I am asking for my customer.

Currently, user usea the original tool to convert TI X0 files into hex. After conversion, we found that the starting address of Hex is 0x10000. The data is distributed between 0x10000~0x18FFF.

When programming, we are programming in ROM mode, so the address we currently set is 0x40000-0x5FFFF. So want to confirm again, this file is currently programmed in Program Flash 2 & 3, right ?

Hi Johnny,

The hex output or .X0 output should have addresses starting from 0x0. Using fusion we can download this same hex/X0 into block 2 & 3. When the device boots and BootROM starts execution, it will finds that there is a valid code inside block 2 & 3. Then BootROM will remap block 2 at virtual address of 0x0.

So, the image file should always have 0x0 address. The BootROM takes care of remapping block 2,3.. etc to 0x0.
