TPS7H5005-SEP: TPS7H5005-SEP

Part Number: TPS7H5005-SEP

Tool/software:

The TPS7H5005-SEP data sheet mentions VREF is measured at COMP.  How is this measurement made?

Since its measured at COMP of the Error Amplifier I believe this indicates the 2mV input offset voltage is then part of the VREF min max tolerance.

Please comment.

  • Hey Stuart,

The VREF is measured by slowly increasing the VREF pin and waiting for the COMP pin to go to 0 V.
This would incorporate an error amplifier offset in the measurement.

The offset is measured by looking at the internal reference rail change.

    Thanks,
    Daniel
