Dear TI Team,

We are currently utilizing the following ICs in our project:

BQ25890 for charging
BQ27621 for fuel gauging
BQ2970 for battery protection

Our primary requirement is that the system should function akin to a standard mobile device, including:

Accurate battery percentage display
Charging and discharging icons in the GUI while charging

Could you confirm if these selected ICs meet our requirements? Additionally, could you kindly provide the Android 11 integration procedure for the BQ25890?

Your assistance will be invaluable for our development process.

Hi Deepak ,

The BQ25890H has a status bit to show charging status. The BQ25620/BQ25638 has ADC monitoring showing battery discharging status as well.

For battery capacity status, fuel gauge is needed.

This is charger support. Please submit separate inquires for BQ27621 and BQ2970 respectively and the appropriate team will support.
