PLC010935BP: Power Line Communication Solution Demonstration

Part Number: PLC010935BP
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: THS6222, , TIDA-010935

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

We are looking for a complete solution on “High Powe Line Communication protocol” for our upcoming project. Please provide a avaiable solution for the same.

Also, could you please assign a dedicated FAE so that we can discuss the techinical queries in detail.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks.

  • Hello Aakash,

Thank you for connecting with HSAMPS on PLC for your project.  I am working internally with our field team on alignment.

You may wait to share details until we set up a meeting/call, but you can ask general questions here as well.  As you have found, the PLC010935BP is an orderable reference design (from TIDA-010935) using the THS6222 as a PLC line driver.

    Best,

    Alec

  • Hi Alec,

Thanks for your support. Actually regading the reference design board selection, we just gone through some boards available with TI. So, I have raised the thread with one of them (PLC010935BP). But, we are not sure whether this board will meet our requirement or not. So, we need your/ TI expetise for selecting the module for High Powe Line Communication.

Please let us know some avaiable evaluation baord with TI for High Powe Line Communication.

  • Hello Aakash,

Thank you for following-up to my message.  While I coordinate with the field team, may I ask for your to share your system requirements for high power line communication?

If you do not wish to openly share your system details online, you may let me know so we can coordinate an email to you with our field team.

I would need to know your voltages (Vout_pk-pk, PAR (PAPR)), output current requirements, line impedance, signal frequency, and available power supplies.  Please share what you are able to share or let me know that we should coordinate with your through the FAE for specific details.

    Best,

    Alec
