We have below questions regarding the part TPSM84824:

1. With regard to below screenshot, could you let us know what source of loss dominate below 0.5A.

2. Reason for incorporating a lower value of Inductor (0.85uH).

    Hi Kiran,

    In general for lower currents, the switching losses will dominate in any buck converter. Plenty of literature can be found for loss equations and how they change with operating conditions. The design choice for inductor may have been based off many factors relating to size, cost, efficiency trade-offs.
