LM117QML-SP: Adjust pin current (Iadj)

Hello.

The Iadj spec in the LM117HRLQMLV (5962R9951705VXA) datasheet is a negative current. Does this mean that the LM117HRLQMLV device sink current? And, The Il (load current) is also a negative current. Why is that? Please advise me.
