Hello,

The current design on the EVM uses a 3.3V command level, but our MCU operates at a 5V level.

Could EN, DIAG EN, and LATCH can be connected to the MCU (5V) using Pin 2 of the header and use a jumper to disable the LDO?

Hi YuFang,

Yes, the EN, DIAG_EN, and LATCH pins can be connected to the 5V MCU using pin 2 of their respective headers. To turn off/ground the LDO, you can use a jumper to connect pins 1 and 2 on J14.

Hello Rishika,

If the LDO is disabled, will it affect functions like fault and SNS on the board?
Or will the function(Voltage) level be adjusted according to the 5V command?

Hi YuFang,

No, it should not affect the fault and SNS functions because the voltage levels will be adjusted according to the MCU's 5V command. The SNS pin can report faults by forcing a voltage of VSNSFH that scales with the diagnostic enable voltage.
