    Hi Yamamoto-san, 

    The force multi-phase operation is also described as "dual-phase operation" for the LP8732-Q1. This is explained further in detail in section 7.3.1.2 of the datasheet.

    For higher-load applications, generally forced multiphase configuration is preferred,
    If expecting a lighter load current , then auto would be preferred, so that the device can detect the lighter load and switch to single-phase, to maximize efficiency.
