TPS63802: Clarity Required external Pull up resistor value on EN pin (TPS63802)

Hi Team,

We are using TPS63802DLAR part.  The VIN voltage is 4.5V. For the circuit operation, we need to pull up the EN pin using 10 Meg Ohm resistor.  Here EN pin pulled to VIN (4.5V). Refer below image.


Does this 10 Meg ohm resistor affects the drive strength of EN pin? 

What is the Maximum value of Pull up resistor i can use on the EN pin? (Especially in the Meg Ohm resistor range)

    Hi  Stanley,

    We can use the spec of Ilkg and rising threshold of EN in EC table of datasheet to calculate the maximum acceptable Rpull.

    Equotion as below.

    (Vin-Vthr_en)/Rpull_up=Ilk.

    Here max Ilkg is 0.2uA and max Vthr_en is 1.13V.

    So the maximum Rpull should be round 16Meg. So 10meg is acceptable here.
