Hi Teams,

The discharge resistance for TPSM84624MOLR part is not mentioned in the datasheet. In our design we are generating 3.3V using this TPSM84624MOLR part, there are two 47uF capacitors are parallel connected across the 3.3V output voltage. So how much time it will take to discharge.

please guide us

    Hi Sanju,

    There is no internal discharge resistor mentioned in the datasheet which means the output discharge feature is not present. In such a case, it really is the time constant of the effective load resistance (Rload) you are driving and the effective output cap (Cout) that will dominate the discharge time. A good estimate on the discharge time will be ~5*Rload*Cout. Hope this helps.
