I am using the BQ79718V AFE.
I want to enter shutdown mode and turn off the AVDD.
I use the UART communication to the MCU with digital isolator between them (because I need isolation).
When I enter the AFE to shutdown mode I also turns off the isolator supply voltage.
My question is if I can supply another 5V (not from the AVDD - because its 0V in shutdown) in shutdown mode to enable the isolator and to send wakeup signal to the AFE through the isolator to the RX of the AFE to wake him up?
