BQ27427: VSYS minimal and maximal output

Part Number: BQ27427

Tool/software:

Hi support team,

We are working on a new device using a BQ27427 as fuel gauge, because of the application in low temperatures (-40 degrees Celsius), we are using the MCP1256 Buck/Boost to provide 3.3v even when the CR2450 voltage level drops below 2.8V up to 1.8V due to the temperature and discharge.

When looking at the datasheet, the VSYS pin provides the battery voltage to the system.

VBAT BAT pin input voltage range –0.3 to 6 V

Can VSYS still provide 1.8V in low voltage level?

My VDD must be 3.3V at the MCP1256 output for the whole system to work.

Hope to have a swift reply as we are tight on delay.

Best Regards,
