TPS25750: TPS25750D and BQ25792 Settings in EEPROM

Hey,

are there more options for setting the BQ25792 in advance via the EEPROM for the above combination? We use these two components in our Design and I would also like to change the Vsysmin register of the BQ25792 via the EEPROM of the TPS25750D. I currently use the USBCPD Application Customization tool and flash the EEPROM with the full flash binary.

    I don't think there's an event currently to configure Vsysmin, but I'll let one of my team members confirm the same. But please allow a delayed response because of the Thanksgiving holiday in the US.

    Hi Matthias, 

    The TPS25750/51 does not configure the BQ25792 Minimal System Voltage register 0h. If a host is present in this design, you may utilize the "I2Cw" 4CC command to write to the battery charger through the PD controller. 

    I would also like to highlight our follow-on device, the TPS25751, recommended for all new designs. Please see the following FAQ.

    thank you very much for your reply. Unfortunately we don't currently have a host in our design, but I think I will add a small controller in the redesign and also switch to the TPS25751.
