TPSM83102: DC DC Boost converter

Tool/software:

I am looking for DC DC Boost converter.

The output we need 1 A on +5V and 1 A on -5 V.

The input voltage is 2.75 V but the current is up to 6 A can be drawn from the supply.

At the moment no preference for cost and size but should be possible to place and add in the PCB design.

Hi John,

I think you mean you need both +5V and -5V rail with one boost converter, right？ What is your input voltage range?

Yes that is correct. The output requirement is +5V and -5V rail with boost converter with 1 A current on each each rail. The input range vary between 2.5 V to 3.3 V. But we try to power up by 2.75 V as we already have this on the board.

I have tried to use TI WEBENCH Power Designer but I think it can not take bi-polar voltage output. Kindly let me know how we can set output voltage +/- 5V with load current requirement 1 A on each voltage rail in the tool TI WEBENCH Power Designer.

I think you can take the application not below as ref for your design. To genarate both negative and positive rail by one boost converter.
