for example a mcp4132 or mcp41010 (1mA max potentiometer current)

    Hello,

    Please refer to the Applications Section of the device datasheet for recommendations on properly sizing the inductor and FB resistors.

    For the inductor, optimize the value for your worst-case operating conditions.
