Hi TI Experts,

We are looking for a 1S single chip BMS solution with integrated charge controller, protection circuits (Over temperature, over charge/discharge protection etc), Wireless charging (is nice to have), Integrated battery gauge with I2C interface (to read out battery State of Charge and battery Health etc).

Kindly you suggest a TI chip that meets these requirements.

The battery info is given below.

Voltage: 3.7V

Type: LiPo/Lion

Capacity: up to 5000mAH

    Hello Paul,

    The only full BMS solution we have available is the BQ40z60, but I would recommend using separate devices for charger and gauge+protector. BQ25620 + BQ27z746 would be a good option.

    Thanks for your recommendation, Wyatt.

    I have reviewed their datasheets and reference design, My major issue with the component size and the number of discrete components required to setup a fully functioning circuit.

    Our PCB size cannot be more than 22mm x 22mm, And we intend to fit in the BMS circuitry plus all other required circuitry on this board. Hence the need of a single chip small footprint BMS IC that require minimal components to setup.
