Attached is the FW PJT file for our model X580WNx. After exporting the VIF file using the latest version "TPS65993_4 Application Customization 6.4.35", the differences compared to the version required by the testing vendor are significant. After a round of testing,"http://share.graniteriverlabs.com.tw/sharing/sBtqppo8k" many items still cannot meet the current requirements of the VIF version 3.1.1.7, and these items cannot be easily modified through the VIF Editor, as they need to correspond to the PJT and BIN files.

I have inquired with the team that handled the previous X370 model, who encountered the same issue as us. At that time, TI provided the new versions of the VIF, PJT, and BIN files, which were then given to the testing vendor for validation.

Could you please assist in providing the latest VIF 3.1.1.7-related files?

I have gone through the GRL tester fails that you are observing with the current pjt and vif files. There are a few mismatches between the capabilities listed in the two files, I will make the changes and share the updates on them in some time.

Hi Zoe,

I can see that there are a few conflicts within the PJT file that you've shared, i needed to get a clarification on that before we can proceed with the changes,
PJT currently sets USB Communication as Device to be disabled while the UFP Device type is being set as peripheral and USB4 is expected to be capable.

I would need your confirmation on it that do we want this project to be USB4 capable? There will be multiple changes that would be required on the VIF and PJT in both cases.

The information about our system is as follows:

Intel Arrow Lake HX
Thunderbolt 5 (Barlow Ridge)
PDO Port A Output: 5V/3A; Input: 5V/3A, 20V/5A
PDO Port B Output: 5V/3A; Input: 5V/3A

The Intel Barlow Ridge documentation states:
"The Barlow Ridge Host controller implements the Thunderbolt/USB4 base protocol functionality as defined by the Thunderbolt/USB4 protocol specification respectively."

Please ensure compliance with the Intel Barlow Ridge specifications.
