Hi Tao,
Thank you for your response.
I would like to understand how efficiently I can use the enable/disable feature for a battery-powered device.
If the enable pin remains active continuously, how will it impact battery life?
Additionally, is it possible to control this functionality via an MCU?
Thanks,
Gaurav
Hi Tao,
When the charging USB cable is plugged in.
I would like to cut off power to the DC/DC converter. I would like to prevent battery usage while charging for safety reasons so that the battery is charging with the power to the DC/DC converter and therefore the rest of the functional components on the pcb cut off.
How can we implement this without any mechanical switch?
Thanks,
Gaurav
HI Gaurav,
Got it, yes, you can disable device by pull the voltage level of EN to low by a MCU. That is totally ok for this device.

Tao

We dropped this plan and will make EN high all the time.
Also, add LDO after TPS63001 to make noise free and stable 3.3 for MCU and ADC.
Please review below schematic and provide your feedback if any improvement is required for it.

Thanks,
Gaurav
Hi Gaurav,
No commments for your schmatic, if can, could you share me you BOM and layout for further check?
Regards
Tao
Hi Tao,
No commments for your schmatic,
can i consider "OK" for schematic?
could you share me you BOM and layout for further check?
I am on paper and pen stage. there is no BOM and layout. We will do it later.
Thanks,
Gaurav
Hi Gaurav,
Yes, i mean ok for your schematic.please share your final design files including BOM and layout if you want me to double check.

Tao
