BQ76952: In reference to TIDA-010208, we are using PTC with sufficient current rating instead of 0 Ohm, for R111

Part Number: BQ76952
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-010208

Tool/software:

Hello,

Referring to TIDA-010208 as a reference for our design, we are observing a current noise of 167  mA at idle(NO LOAD/DSG-CHG OFF) for few seconds, on heating R111 which is a PTC in our case (of sufficient current rating for general operation) above 80 ° C. We suspect the connection of PTC between BAT -  and GND is creating a noise in current readings. We are using shunt of 0.1 mΩ in our BMS.

Can you help us understand the cause of the above problem.

Regards and thankyou
