Dear TI Support Team,

I am currently working with the BQ25616 charging IC and have encountered an issue where the pre-charge current is too low.

I would like to inquire whether it is possible to increase the pre-charge current under these conditions, especially when the fast-charge current is fixed at 2A. Is there a way to adjust the pre-charge current for batteries below 3.0V to ensure proper charging?
