TPS543C20A: Isolation resistors at the output

Part Number: TPS543C20A

Tool/software:

Hi

We have used multiple 0 ohms isolation resistors at the output of the buck. This is to help us during testing phase by isolation the load and checking initially. We are using this to power Zynq ultrascale+(XQZU19EG-2FFQB1517I) FPGA VCCINT supply.

Since we have designed this for 39A, we have provided sufficient 0 ohm resistors in parallel. Please let us know if this fine.

  • Hello,

The 0 Ohm resistors are okay. I did review the schematic and have a comment about the output capacitance,

I recommend adding at least 2 more 220uF capacitors you will need about 1670uF of effective output capacitance for this application

    Best regards,
    Britton
