Hi,

I want to design a variable power supply with the help of LLC Resonant converter (for applications up to 100W). I want to be able to change my output power according to the current value I read from NFC. Is IC UCC256301 suitable for this application? I want to use MSP4302 for control. Is there an integrated circuit you can recommend for NFC reading?

I am not aware of NFC reading circuits. If you have any specific questions on MSP4302, please re-post your query with MSP4302 title and tags.

If you have any specific question related to UCC256301, please ask.

Output power is what is drawn by load, not directly delivered by the converter. A typical UCC256301 converter delivers a constant output voltage. Based on the load, it can draw 0W to the rated power (in this case, up to 100W).

What do you want to change, is it output voltage or output current limit?

Please refer to a newer generation LLC controller UCC25660 reference design PMP41106 reference design | TI.com schematic to understand, what parameters you can control/ change in the design.

Please refer PMP41106 reference design | TI.com. You can consider modulating the reference to U7A error amplifier. You can ignore U7B circuitry, if you do not need output CC limit characteristics.

TL103WAIDR has internal reference at pin 3. You can choose an op-amp without internal reference (or) use U7B (op-amps with pins 5,6,7) modulating the output voltage reference.
