Hi team,
What is the recommended Vin Cap value? Due to impact inrush current when plug.
The inrush current value tested by the customer changes with the calue of the capacitor.
Is cap can be removed? thanks

Hi Team,
The input current is around 10A when the Customer uses 0.1uF as Vin cap. Do you have a suggestion? thanks
Hi,
10A will not flow through LM5069 as it is input cap charging current.
Are you sure it is only 0.1uF? It looks there is more cap.

Hi team,
Customer use the 0.1uF and 0.01uF of Vin cap to test and use hot plug of the way to test.
The test result will cause some Voltage spike and charge current to Vin cap.
Do you have some suggestions to improve the spike and current?
Seems 0.01uF of Vin cap test result is better. but you suggest min cap is 0.1uF.
Vin cap 0.1uF result
spike V=103V
Charge current 30A
Vin cap 0.01uF result
spike V=94V
Charge current= 2.8A
Hi Jimmy,
Is this result repeatable?
If yes then they can use 0.01uF. They can use TVS diode to further lower peak.
