Hi Jonathan,
Can you archive the project and post here. That'll go better than me trying to reproduce based off of screen grabs.
David
Here's the files:
everything needed is contained in that zip file,
please have a look
Thank You!

I'm in the middle of a laptop refresh. I'll have to reinstall PSpice. Please be patient as all this will take a some time.
David
Hi David,
That's fine ,take your time to get everything ready so you can verify my circuit for the error
to further improve my knowledge of the tool , i would not mind if we can set up a meeting to get a quick crash course of the software

Jonathan,
There are a number of instructional videos to help you bootstrap.
Also, if you have some particular part that you are interested in, you can search (if it's a TI part) and often/usually they'll have a test circuit with sim profile built into the tool. Then it's just a matter of right click to load and you can simulate immediately.
It's also a good baseline to start from since you know that you're dealing with a stable circuit that converges.
Videos can be found on the PSpice page, www.ti.com/tool/PSPICE-FOR-TI
I'm kind of annoyed with how they've changed it as it doesn't show all of them. If you have problems, let me know and I'll go pester Marketing who is responsible for that.
David
Hi David,
i've watched all instructions
my circuit was not working!,
Do you mind sharing why my circuit is not working and how i can fix this ?

Hi David,
i've watched all instructions
instructional videos are there but once i build the circuit it does not simulate
my circuit was is still not working!,
Do you mind sharing why my circuit is not working and how i can fix this ?

did you get the chance to open the files i sent
to evaluate them for the error?
Not yet. I just got my new computer yesterday afternoon. Working on installing software now. I may run into the max install limit, which'll require Cadence to clear my install cache.
Can you archive the project again. I'm only getting the DSN and need the project and any libraries that you are using.
David
Hi David,
Can you tell me which file format you need to perform the simulation?

Hi Jonathan,
I just swapped out my computer and am having problems with PSpice for TI. Physician heal thyself!
Please be patient. I'll be in next week, so I should be able to help you at some point.
David
Hi Jonathan,
I finally got my PSpice working. New computer and apparently the install didn't do the plugins correctly.
On to your problem. I was able to simulate your voltage divider without a problem. And that was just with what you provided me. I didn't have to touch a thing.
Many TI parts have a test circuit built into the tool. Are there any you care about in particular?
Try running one of those. If you don't have any that are of interest, I can give you a part number and we can try simulating that.
David
Hi David,
Yes weird enough after awhile the circuit worked for me and the error did not show up anymore
was there perhaps a software bug etc..?
I'm going to be testing few parts that we currently have in our system for Worst case circuit analysis so I'll need simulate them eventually
I'm going to start with the TPS2663 Efuse
I'll send you the file when I finish it

Hi again Jonathan.
Glad its up and running. Not sure of the source of the glitchiness. That sometimes happens with complex programs such as PSpice or Altium Designer. The more features the get built in, the twitchier they get.
David
Hi Jonathan,
I'm going to close this thread.
If the problem presists, please either re-open, or submit a new question (preferable)
