TPS6521905: PMIC programming problem

Part Number: TPS6521905
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: USB2ANY

Tool/software:

Hi

Currently, customers using TPS6521905RHBR PMIC writer USB2ANY encounter the following problems:

1. You have to burn it in repeatedly, and it will occasionally succeed.

2. After burning in, confirm that the value is there and the read comparison is correct.

3. However, the burned-in value cannot be read after turning the power on and off again (it should be because the TPS6521905RHBR has activated the Processor and occupies the I2C bus).

Can you give us some suggestions or directions to clarify this issue

  • Hi Gareth,

Is it possible to hold the EN pin so that the outputs are not activated while validating the programmed settings? Normally it should burn successfully in one try, so it is not common what you describe in #1.

    Best regards,

    Matt
