bq20z75 v180 update status

Dear all

    When send command 0021 to IC bq20z75v180, the update status is changed into 06. Duing lifetime, the update status is  changed to 0E when the table is used(Or others). However, the update status is remained at 06 in bq20z75v160.

    Who can give me a full explanation about the possible status of update status in bq20z75v180...

    Jason,

    This is normal. When a second Qmax update happens, Update Status gets set to 0x0E signifying that cell balancing is active, since this requires two Qmax updates. The documentation for some of the newer gauges (such as the bq20z45) explains this, and it was added in V180 of the z75, but it looks like this feature never made it to the z75 documentation. I apologize for the oversight.
