BQ76952: ADC accuracy issue?

Part Number: BQ76952

Tool/software:

1. When testing high voltage acquisition, measuring current at the same time may cause a jump in high voltage.
Can this chip measure both current and high voltage simultaneously?

2. What does the 1mV carry in ADC accuracy look like. For example, when measuring 1.4mV, does it display 1mV or 2mV?

  • Hello Allen,

This chip can measure both current and voltage simultaneously. Do you mind clarifying what/how you are testing that causes this jump in high voltage? Also, how high is this jump in voltage?

Table 7.3 Recommended Operating Conditions (continued) in the BQ76952 Datasheet should give you the accuracy values of the part for cell voltage measurements.

    Best Regards,
    Alexis
