BQ25170J: BQ25170JDSGR : How to check for Output overcharge and Overload condition ?

Tool/software:

I have been conducting some basic EVT tests and couldn't find a way around to check the output overvoltage and overload conditions. The IC does not take in any current when an external Voltage supply is provided (for output overvoltage) . It's similar case while using a current or resistive load (for output overload condition). Can anyone help me with how my test setup should be for conducting these tests ?

    Hello

    For Output Overvoltage test a battery simulator such as Keithley 2400.  The output voltage can them be adjusted above the Overvoltage threshold. 

    For Output Overload Condition the ISET resistor can be shorted during operation with a battery simulator and monitor the output current can be monitor.  It will shutdown at about 1A peak. See figure 8-11.
