Tool/software:
Hello everyone,
I’m currently working on designing a compensation network for the CMC buck converter LM5088-2.
However, I’ve been struggling to find a detailed and clear guide for calculating the compensation components (Rcomp, Ccomp, and CHF) (poles and Zeros)
Im interested to see the stability of the converter loop and tune the system for the application.
While the datasheet and the provided calculation tool (Quickstart.xls) are helpful to some extent, they lack the detailed steps and explanation I need to fully understand and implement the design.
I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could share a suitable document, solved examples, or any additional resources that provide a step-by-step explanation for designing the compensation network specific to the LM5088-2.
The design specs I'm working on are:
Vin Min : 18V
Vin Nom : 27V
Vin Max : 31V
Vout : 15V
Iout : 5A
Fsw : 250KHz
L : 47uH
Rsen : 20mOhms
Cout : 500uF
Mosfet : CSD18534KCS
Diode : STPS30M60ST
Rramp : 154Kohms
Cramp : 1.2nF
Cboot : 0.1uF
Thanks in Advance,
Arvind
