Hi,

My appliaction is:

4.5V-20V input voltage.

5V output voltage (1A output current)

How should i chose the internal LDO power rail ?

Im asking beacuse its not clear for me what is the right chose when VIN=VOUT=5V.

According to table 7-1 i need to chose VOUT as the external supply, is it correct ?

I dont have any option for external supply.

    Hi Yoav,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    When Vin and Vout are both smaller than 5.9V, the VCC power supply will be selected from max(Vin, Vout).

    By connecting EXTVCC with VCC pin or floating, the device will select internal LDO supply. No external supply needed for VCC.
