BQ27426: Calibration data cannot be written

Hi Team,

How could I understand " require no customer changes and are provided for debug purposes only."?

Customer feedback that: 

  • Calibrate the device and generate .fs file. 
  • Reset device and program .fs
  • Find these three parameters do not be updated. 
  • Program gg.file, also fail. 

How could customer apply/program their calibration result in production line?

    Hi Team, 

    Fix .fs file issue by adjust golden image configuration. Here is a new finding: 

    Generate .csv file with CC gain data. Program .csv file but also cannot update CC gain value. Can you have a look at this question? Thanks!

    Hello Kailun, 

    In production, the customer could either apply a voltage and current to every gauge to calibrate the voltage and current.

    Another option is they can calibrate 20+ gauges in development, then take the average value of the calibrated values, then they can program these averaged values onto the gauge they are using for the golden image. With the second method, the averaged calibration values should be included in the golden image.

    Hello, 

    You should generate a golden image of the format type ".gm.fs". This will contain the CC Gain value. Nonetheless, the CC Gain value should still be present in the .gg file.
