Hi,

I'm planning to use TPS23881ARTQT IC for one of our PoE Camera projects (7-pair, 15W each).

I have a couple of doubts to clarify,

I am powering the entire system from a battery (automotive application). However, the same power source is used for other interfaces as well (e.g., USB, HDMI, GMSL Camera, etc.).

The PSE board and all the PD camera devices will be connected within a passenger bus (cable length < 15m). For this application, do I need to isolate the PoE camera power?
If power isolation is required, do I also need to isolate the control signals?

I noticed that most of TI's EVMs have isolated the control signals as well. Is this isolation mandatory?

Can you please reply on this as early as possible?

Thanks for your patience. If you are designing a IEEE802.3 bt,at,af compliance device, the isolation is required as below description. If for non-compliance design, it depends on other application requirements.
