I design a new BMU with bq40Z50 gauge. I use last FW v5.04

BMU is 4 cells of 3.7V, 8Ah each.

I use it with specific calibration to double current (60A instead 30A max). I use Texas App note dedicated for this. I mentionned it if it can be important for ticket.

(then all mAh value are divided by 2, then design capacity is 4000mAh)

My problem is that after configuring chip (by import gg file pre-configured), the SOH is about 83% instead of 100%

I do not understand why value is not 100% and how to reset it to 100%

I check parameters : (I use CAPM = 0 for mAh)

- design capacity = 4000mAh

- FCC max = 4000mAh

- Q cell x = 4000mAh

- Q cell pack = 4000mAh

- FCC min (lifetimes) reset to 0, and do lifetimes reset

- SOH load rate : 5.0 (but I do not understand how to well set this value)

I try to send CMD "reset", but SOH do not change (always 83%).

Whay is the way / procedure to reset SOH ?

Have you completed a learning cycle?

As you continue to get Qmax updates is the SOH value beginning to increase?

Hello,

The system has been powered on for several weeks, so I let it "live"
Apart from intervening on the settings, I don't see what else I can do.
I tried:
- reprogram the FW (rev 5.04)
- reload the settings (by checking all the parameters)
- shutdown
- reset
- rest lifetimes
nothing works, the SOH remains at 83%

On register tab (read only), I can see mAh value that are not 4000mAh, but theses values are read only, and I do not find any way to reset it....
