Hi Team,
I'm using LM3410XQMF/NOPB in my design right now to provide the display's backlight, and everything is working fine.
However, the LM3410XQMF/NOPB can only supply a maximum of 24V; for my next projects, I need a backlight voltage of greater than 30V.
Therefore, I intend to replace the current part for the higher backlight in the next display-based designs with the part TPS61169DCKR.
For the chosen displays, the current requirement will be less than 1 amp.
Please advise if TPS61169DCKR or any other alternative can be utilized.

Chithraj S
Hi Patrick,
The input voltage range is 3.3V to 5V.
In the existing design, 5V is provided as the input for the IC LM3410XQMF/NOPB.

Hi Chithraj,
Could you please confirm the LED current? <1A is a too rough estimation. Or maybe you can consider below devices firstly.

TPS923652 data sheet, product information and support | TI.com

Hi Patrick,
The approximate value is provided since we intend to use three displays, each of which has an LED current of 200mA, 360mA, and 420mA.
In the current design, using the LM3410XQMF/NOPB, the display LED current is 200mA.
Please let me know if the TPS61169DCKR can be used as a replacement for this part with the design parameters below:
Iout: 420mA
Vout: 23V
Vin: 5V

Hi Chithraj S,
Considering the power density, TPS61169 is not able to support this display.

Hi Patrick,
Thanks for your confirmation.
I will consider the suggested parts TPS923652 and TPS923650.
