Dear Sir,

When we claims on datasheet, “Vref is 188~220mV, typically 204mV.”

Does this description refer to that “the ripple is considered” or that “the average won’t reach the limits”?

I ask this because I didn’t see how ripples are in the datasheet.

How to consider if ripple here? thanks.

It means peak/ripple Vref>220mV is make sense? (when average voltage level<220mV)

The peak to peak voltage of Vrb will not over 220mV.

Dear Caryss,
Do you means TPS61169 VREF will not over 220mV?
But how about in customer's PCB? It's possible over 220mV as above waveform, that will still safe for application in PCB?

Hi Ian,
The Vref will not over the voltage guaranteed in spec under the condition indicated in datasheet.
It should be same with customer's PCB.
In the waveform above, I don't see the voltage is over 220mV, and the max voltage is not real, there is lots of noise coupled to the probe.
