Hi team,

TPS54538 datasheet says it supports 0.6V but it is 0.8V at recommended operating condtions. Is 0.8V typo?

It can support but may have larger ripple in this Vout.

Hi Colin,

I see TPS54538 can support 0.6V.
Why 0.6V Vout may be larger ripple than 0.8V? Is this the reason that recommended Vout is 0.8V-22V?

HI Koyo,

This is because 0.6V is very easy to reach Ton-min with low duty cycle. That would slow down the Fsw and cause large ripple. So we may need more COUT in this condition.

0.8V is more relaxing in trade of COUT and ripple.
