TPS1H000-Q1: Inrush Current Limit

There is an inrush current up to 10Apeak when power hot plug with external keypad. However the TPS1H000 could be switching from ON to OFF when inrush current is happened in 1uS around. With this situation, you can see the inductor current goes high up to ADP5070's current limit of the 1.14A, and then the ADP5070 goes into current limit protection and shutdown.

1. The question is that why the inrush current could NOT be limited during hot-plug by TPS1H000 itself, and then let ADP5070 is about to work continuously without being shutdown?  \

2. It looks that the internal switch didn't switch OFF completely. Why? It could cause the ADP5070 to supply current continuously to load via TPS1H000 after inrush event. 

Pleas see the below waveform. 

Customer expected that the inrush current can be limited and the VOUT of TPS1H000 can NOT be affected by that! Otherwise the MD system could not working normally. 

Topology: ADP5070 (5Vin to +/-15V) => TPS1H000 (15Vin to 15Vout) => hot-plugging with external Keypad.
