Hi All !

I have a question regarding LM5066 Fault alert,

Does when the PGD collapse to logic level 0, indicate any of the errors of : OV UV OC OT ?

Does the LM5066 store the fault somewhere if not is there option to do it or this is something that need to manage by any processor ?

Hi Yonatan,

PG will go low when FB pin voltage goes below certain threshold. FB is pulled to vout, so events which cause vout to fall will cause pg to go low.

PMbus registers will store the fault.

I mean, Is Overcurrent cause the PGD to fall ?

Does the PMbus registers store the fault after disturbance at Vin ?

Does the PMbus registers store the fault after disturbance at Vin ? If Vin goes low then info will be lost as it is RAM.

Is large capacitor at VDD which can hold the voltage there after Vin shut down will allow to read Data via the PMBUS ?
