The TPS799 accepts a bypass cap on the NR pin to reduce noise. How does one determine the capacitance value and type?

    Hi Marcus,

    In section 7.3.3 of the datasheet for this device, we mention "To ensure that CNR is fully charged during start-up, use a 0.01-μF or smaller capacitor."

    The NR pin is high impedance so a low leakage CNR capacitor must be used. We recommend a ceramic type of capacitor.
