How many dedicated VDD supplies are required for the UCC21551CQDWKRQ1? Is it possible to drive the UCC21551CQDWKRQ1 with a single VDD supply for both switches, or are two dedicated VDD supplies needed for each switch?

    Thank you for reaching out with this question!

    It is not necessary to use 2 dedicated VDD supplies for each channel.

    Assuming a half-bridge configuration, 1 isolated bias supply can be used as long as a bootstrap circuit is utilized to help bias the channel driving the high-side MOSFET like the below snippet:

    The benefit of using 2 dedicated VDD supplies for each channel would be the removal of the need for a bootstrap circuit.
