LP5891: matrix power saving mode

Hi Dice-k,

Situation 1: when the LED Panel is into idle state(show black figure) but need to enter normal mode quickly once is triggered. the matrix power save mode can be entered by IC itself when detect the all black matrix and back to the normal mode without initial setting again! 

Situation 2: when the LED Panel display the picture which with lots of black area and  less light on area. the LED Driver who control the black area can enter PSM to reduce the power dissipation.

Are there any disadvantages to MPSM?
I'm concerned because MPSM is disabled by default.

Hi Dice,

we suggested to finish sending the data at lest 500us before next VSYNC command which guarantee the internal blocks have enough time to be ready.

Yes. only using MPSM or STANDBY function, this should be careful.
